We like to keep you up to date on all of the things happening in the construction & development world and this post is no different. The historic Budd Company’s sprawling campus located in the Allegheny section of Philadelphia will undergo an epic renovation. The Budd Company was a metal fabricator and manufactured rail cars and parts for vehicles. As you can expect, with the original use in mind, the buildings are huge. The site is MASSIVE! 25 Acres, multiple buildings across 5 parcels. Every square foot of this complex creates a unique development opportunity. The site will undoubtedly be an anchor for the neighborhood. The first phase will be the adaptive reuse of a few single story buildings and convert them into a Makers space and dining/food court facility. We’re super excited to see this project kick-off!
